2-8 Script

February 8 we'll use the video teaching for the story time, so I cut the script back to one person who is hosting/leading worship. There are several of you who will be at the women's retreat that weekend, too, so this worked out well. Here's the script.

2-1 Script

Hey team!

The Sunday script is ready. Check it out here! Our story this week is about Jesus in the temple. It sets up our entire month of learning about Jesus the master storyteller and that Jesus wants us to know what God is like.

I'll have the scroll and a walking stick for the storyteller to use. The motions for the new song "Amazing Love" are up on here. Let me know if you have any questions.

1-25 Script

The story this week is Jesus calming the storm. I'm trying to locate a background rain video to play during the storytime in addition to the other things in the script. It will add to the effect of the silence when Jesus calms the storm. Either way, though, the kids are going to have fun with it!

Here's the script. Let me know if you have any questions! I'll have the story props in place on Sunday (and the boat) Hosts, if you can find some sort of rain gear, that would be great. Let me know if you need help, I'll do what I can!

Transition Period/New Set

Hey guys! We've got another two weeks of transition period before we kick off the entirely new format for our large group time. This will include some exciting new puppets, format, weekly activities, etc.

This week I've been working on designing/building and creating a new set for our stage. On Sunday you'll enter a whole new place filled with fun, color and creativity. When February rolls around we'll start utilizing the set pieces in our weekly teaching. I'll probably have all of you guys who can come on that Sunday so I can give you the run down of everything. It will be very similar to what we've been doing in January with the addition of some weekly things (like looking for clues and welcoming a visitor that helps illustrate the Bible story each week). I'm still working on the details, so thanks for your patience! It's been quite a process, but it's a lot of fun and the kids are loving it!

I'm so thankful that God has given us the ideas, the resources and especially YOU GUYS, the people, to do amazing things for our preschoolers at WBC! Look for the Sunday script coming tonight.

I'm working to get the rest of the month done soon so you have more prep time.
