1-3 Script

Here's the script for 1-3. Meet Workout Wanda, prepper of all long journeys. She'll be teaching the kids about how God prepares us for life and how Jesus did what God asked him to do by staying and teaching in the temple.

See you soon! Happy Christmas, Happy New Year!

12-27 Script

Hey Jennifer and Terri!

12-20 Script

Joel and Eric,

Here's your script for the 20th. It seems like it may be a little long at first read, but I think we'll be ok. Chances are we'll be somewhat short-staffed with our small group volunteers, so even if we are a bit over, it's probably ok. Lambert, the sheep puppet will be making an appearance, so get excited!

Thanks!

Thanks Rose and Rachel!

- E

12-6 Script

Jennifer and Terri, Here's your script for 12-6. Jennifer, you'll be host and Terri you'll play an angel (it's a stretch, I know, but I think you can dig deep and find it somewhere ;) ).

It's a bit short and I have a version of Away in a Manger if you want to sing that, too, Jennifer, just let me know.

thanks!

11-8 Script

Hey Rachel!

Here is your script. The video is all about animals and is really fun. The intro calls for you to use a small live animal--the kids will love it, however, if you don't have access to one, or would rather not mess with it, you can use pictures instead. I'll be out of town this week, too. I'll have your squirrel for the panel ready backstage.

Have fun! Thanks!

- Eric

11-1 Script

Here is the script for this week. Joel and Rose, I'm not sure which one of you wants to Host/lead worship, I'll send you guys each other's contact info so you can decide between yourselves.

This week is creation day 5 - fish and birds. You'll add them to the panel for day 5 and glue on scales and feathers as you tell the story. It's gonna be fun!

Remember, I'll be out of town this Sunday. The supplies you need are in a bin behind the stage!

Have fun and see you soon!

October 18 Script

Hey team! Here is the script for October 18!

See you soon!

10-11 Script

Hey Kerplunk Team!

The script for Sunday is up! I'm going to try to highlight a quick teaching point along with each lesson for a few weeks.

Quick Tip of the Week:
Did you know that each Sunday when I highlight a concept in the script in bold, it's the "bottom" line, or main point that we hope the kids take home with them for the day? So if we ask a question like: "Who made everything?" we really want the kids to say "God made everything" and not just the standard church answer "God" so that they understand and remember exactly what God did! Say the response along with them and they'll be more likely to say the whole thing. Cool!

See you soon!

October/November overview for all + Sunday Script

All of October and November we will be studying creation. Each Sunday will be a day of creation and then at the end of November we'll review what we've learned and celebrate creation, just like God did after He was finished! I am really excited about the unit, our curriculum has some great ideas to spring from and I think the kids are going to have a BLAST!

Here is your script for October 4. We have a new song for the month--"God Made Everything." I'll film the instructional video tomorrow and get it posted.

Also, each week has a short little song that will help the kids remember the days of creation. I'll post more info about that as well. Each week we will add to the song and then in the end it will cover all of creation. Our puppet team is working on this, too, so we hope to have a final show by November that will put all the pieces of this song together for our kids.

More soon...

Remember, you've got to have TONS of energy and just let loose when you sing with the kids. 3-22 Script and Info

The cast for Sunday's script is:

9
Host - Camille
Chef Linguini - Carol

10:30
Host - Rachel
Chef Linguini - Sally

I have a chef's hat I will bring.  I'll try to round up an apron, too.  We've got a boombox at the church for the very beginning.  I may need some old school poof-ball earmuffs for Pablo if anyone has some...I've got to check out our prop bins.

Here's lyrics to the new song.  I'll film the motions video on Wednesday and get it up.  The song is pretty simple...and if you notice, it's been playing as kids come in and go out for several weeks...kind of a subtle way to begin the teaching process.

thanks, team!  You guys are awesome!  Look how far we've come!

1-25 Script

The story this week is Jesus calming the storm. I'm trying to locate a background rain video to play during the storytime in addition to the other things in the script. It will add to the effect of the silence when Jesus calms the storm. Either way, though, the kids are going to have fun with it!

Here's the script. Let me know if you have any questions! I'll have the story props in place on Sunday (and the boat) Hosts, if you can find some sort of rain gear, that would be great. Let me know if you need help, I'll do what I can!

Transition Period/New Set

Hey guys! We've got another two weeks of transition period before we kick off the entirely new format for our large group time. This will include some exciting new puppets, format, weekly activities, etc.

This week I've been working on designing/building and creating a new set for our stage. On Sunday you'll enter a whole new place filled with fun, color and creativity. When February rolls around we'll start utilizing the set pieces in our weekly teaching. I'll probably have all of you guys who can come on that Sunday so I can give you the run down of everything. It will be very similar to what we've been doing in January with the addition of some weekly things (like looking for clues and welcoming a visitor that helps illustrate the Bible story each week). I'm still working on the details, so thanks for your patience! It's been quite a process, but it's a lot of fun and the kids are loving it!

I'm so thankful that God has given us the ideas, the resources and especially YOU GUYS, the people, to do amazing things for our preschoolers at WBC! Look for the Sunday script coming tonight.

1-11-09 Script

Hey Guys!

Here is the script for this Sunday. Click Here. You should be able to save it to your computer or print it out from here. Let me know if you have any trouble or questions, I want to make sure this is working for everyone.

Also, remember you can look at the calendar to the side here to see who is on schedule. This week at 9 (REMEMBER NEW SERVICE TIMES) Rose will be Storyteller and Camille will be Host. At 10:30 Chrissy will be Storyteller and Rachel will be Host (if you 10:30 guys want to flip that, I'm okay with it).

I'm working to get the rest of the month done soon so you have more prep time.

Lastly, does anyone have any crutches we could borrow? We need them for Sunday if you do.

THANKS GUYS!
